How do HPD Greater Houston Police Activities League (PAL) officers get ready for summer? They play tennis!
The USTA Generation Tennis Coaches Workshop taught officers how encourage kids to play tennis and how to teach them tennis skills. Free summer youth tennis programs are available at 39 neighborhood parks in the Houston area. For more information, go to the Houston Youth Tennis Program website.

Officers from the Southwest Patrol Community Services Unit were at the Randall’s on Holcombe yesterday providing crime prevention information to the community. HPD has a great partnership with many of our community businesses and look forward to working with more in the future.
Look for the Southwest Community Service officers to be at the Kroger 10306 S Post Oak on June 7th, the Fiesta on 12355 Main on June 8th, and the Walmart at 9555 S. Post Oak on June 22nd. Come out and see us!
