We raised more than $56,000 for The Cure Starts Now and pediatric cancer research through the “Beard it Up” and “Color for the Cure” campaigns. The beards have to go tomorrow, but the support for research to cure cancer will continue. #RelationalPolicing

South Central Patrol Division would like to express our gratitude for your consistency, commitment, and support of the Houston Police Departments efforts.
It is because of you, our community stakeholders, that we are successful and striving to further serve and protect you. We cannot be as successful as we are without your cooperation and willingness to enable and assist us on our path of providing a safe community.
The Potluck was a huge success with great food, fellowship, and family! We would like to extend our thanks to Mr. Bruce Bacon, who held the position on the Board as President, for being so faithful and committed to the position, but wanted to give someone else the opportunity to experience leadership over such an amazing group. With that being said, thank you to our newest President Mr. Kevin Campbell! We all know this program would not be successful without the backbone(s) our reigning Vice President and Secretary Joyce Drew and Kim Gibson. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!
On November 16th, the Central Patrol Station hosted a Thanksgiving Food Drive. Because of the support received from our local schools and businesses, we were able to positively impact the lives of 62 families by providing them with turkeys and other goods.
Moving forward, the feedback that was provided will help us continue grow and improve upon this event. Attached are a few photos from the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Enjoy!
Ultimately, none of this would be possible without the help and support of the following: Administration: Captain T. Guinn-Shaver, Lt. C. Davis, Lt. C. Southwell, Sgt. J. Roque, Sgt. C. Wall, Sgt. M Arroyo, and Sgt S. Pham Contributors: State Representative Jessica Farrar, Eddie Carranco & the North Central Civic Association, Doug Griffith with HPOU, Central Patrol, Avenue CDC, Greater Northside Management District, Jeanette R., and H-E-B.
